I'm using a lot of stuff in reaktor that sounds really good, especially when loading samples into FORM, love it, but as far as Kontakt, about 90 percent of the libraries i find i don't use due to sound quality or warmth, i understand you can give sounds the warmth or effect you want after the fact but i feel sounds should have a great feel and sound when raw as well, some depth, so i'm basically just looking for the higher end libraries, some guitars and orchestral stuff would be good, Drums also, love modern drummer and the sound it gives off, I do like synths choirs and world instruments also, and i know there are prob to many libraries to list but i find i get really discouraged when looking over my libraries in kontakt and want to breath new life in there with some high quality stuff. So i have trillian by spectrasonics which has amazing sound and depth, and am thinking about going all out and buying keycape and omnisphere.

Why is the symphony series so quiet and low? is ii t because you don't want to move to much off the fader as to distort sound so it's better to keep fader at around zero then to have it loud and bring the fader down as to avoid clipping? But after taking a shot at logic with a mix down and then mastering my results were much much worse than with Ableton(prob due to my lack of truly grasping logic) so i'm sticking with Ableton, plus the audio editing and how user friendly is hands down is better. so i've been using Ableton for about 9 months and really like it(vst only) but i'm on a MacBook pro with a clarett interface, but after mixing and mastering everything would sound good but just i felt a little thin in some spots, so i tried logic pro x, and when loading kontakt for the first time i noticed that it was much cleaner sounding in logic as opposed to ableton, it was loaded as an AU and 128 buffer size, the only difference in Ableton is vst and 512 buffer size, so when i dropped the buffer size to 128 in Ableton it didn't help the sound actually made it slightly less clear or about the same as 512.
